Zones & knife-edge readings
Enter zone boundaries (inner/outer) or just the effective radius. With multiple tests, fill each column top-to-bottom — Enter or Tab jumps to the top of the next test column. The Avg column feeds the analysis.

Measurement uncertainty
The shaded band on the wavefront chart shows where the true surface could lie. A uniform error in every zone is pure defocus and cannot change the rating — only differences between zones matter, so these figures come from searching which combination of zone errors helps or hurts most. Worst assumes every zone conspires unfavourably at once: a genuine bound, not a likely outcome.
Millies-Lacroix Analysis
Ronchi test simulation
Simulated bench view with the grating near the center of curvature. A sphere shows straight, evenly spaced bands; a paraboloid shows symmetric curved bands. Compare your measured pattern (left) against the ideal (right) — where the curves differ, that zone is high or low. Slide the grating offset to sweep the bands.
